San Salvador (4-1) recorded its first loss on the court of fourth ranked Ahuachapan on Friday night. Visitors were defeated by Ahuachapan 80-74 . It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of San Salvador. Ahuachapan made 27-of-35 free shots (77.1 percent) during the game, while San Salvador only scored two points from the stripe. The best player for the winners was Dominican Yenifer Jimenez (163-1999) who had a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 12 rebounds. Monica Aristondo (163-1992) chipped in 28 points and 8 rebounds. Cuban Anisleidys Martinez (181-1989) produced a double-double by scoring 43 points (!!!) and 19 rebounds and Adriana Rivas (176-1996) added 10 points and 4 assists respectively for the guests. Ahuachapan maintains fourth place with 2-3 record, which they share with Santa Ana. San Salvador at the other side still keeps top position with one game lost. They share it with Salvadorenas.
